when i had my tank outdoors and it got cold one night i lost half or more of my young ones. only the ones who stayed close to the small underwater heater survived. i moved them all indoors after that.
also, when i had a fry only tank, i only changed the water every two weeks, and then i changed 90 (very slowly)

I just do 25% a week in all my tanks now
